modified SeraMyu-style Sailor fuku

Inspiration: My favorite actress as my favorite character from my favorite anime! What more inspiration does one need for her first costume? ^-^
Design: I aimed for a modified SeraMyu-style fuku. I modified it by making the sleeves white instead of blue, the collar doesn't stand up as much as Myu, and the bow is a bit different. Otherwise it's Myu-style. I'd say it's a mix of Myu and anime.
Construction: Being my first costume, I was nowhere near being an experienced cosplayer, but I knew that Sailor Senshi fukus are not easy to make. The bodice has to be skin-tight, and the easiest way to do that is to get a leotard or other stretchy material. However, my bodice, skirt and collar are all cotton, so the costume is fitted to me.
Favorite Aspect: Besides the fact that it was a SeraMyu costume (yay!!) I got tons of comments on the wig. Everyone says it looks like real hair, but I personally dislike it. I attempted to cut it to her style, but I had no experience cutting wigs at the time and as the costume gets older I find myself disliking the wig more and more.
