Professor Tomoe

Inspiration: I really don't know where the inspiration for this costume came from. One day I just decided that Professor Tomoe was awesome and I had to cosplay him. There are also very very few good Tomoe cosplayers, and I knew the character had to be done more justice.
Design: The anime and manga versions of this character are almost identical, so that wasn't really an issue, but I went off the anime version for the bright purple pants and tie.
Construction: This costume actually took me two years to complete! Not because it was difficult, but because of other cosplay projects and personal endeavors getting in the way of production. It wasn't a matter of just buying pieces to make up the costume either. The pants and tie had to be made and the wig cut.
Favorite Aspect: The glasses, definitely 8D
Costume Difficulties: Unfortunately, everything that I bought pre-made (the shirt and lab coat) is about 16 sizes too large for me. The shirt is long enough to be appropriate for a Chii pajama cosplay, and I'm literally swimming in the lab coat. It makes for a slightly off look overall, and even the oversized shirt doesn't fully hide my curves.
