Psylocke
- X-Men -

Appearances: Pittsburgh Comicon 2007, AnimeCentral 2007, AnimeExpo 2007, Otakon 2007, Pittsburgh Comicon 2008

Awards: 2nd Place Adult Division at Pittsburgh Comicon 2007

Inspiration: Unfortunately, I know little about the world of X-Men, but I'm learning! This costume was inspired by my boyfriend's love of Psylocke. Luckily, it's become one of my favorite costumes ^^

Design: There are about a dozen different versions of this costume. Since Mike's the expert, I let him decide on the details. He decided on the version seen in Capcom's X-MEN Children of the Atom. The bodysuit and hair color and style was all chosen by him.

Construction: This was a surprisingly easy costume to make. The leggings scared me a little at first, but once I figured it out it was pretty easy. Spandex can sometimes be tricky to work with, but easy fitting is worth it.

Favorite Aspect: It's extremely easy to move in and I get a lot of attention. Two reasons it's one of my favorites :P

Costume Difficulties: It's very difficult to get all the bands to stay where they're suppose to. I've made them tighter over the course of wearing it, so now they stay in place but squeeze me too much sometimes >_<
