Princess Peach Toadstool

Inspiration: Believe it or not, Mario RPG is my favorite game of all time (nostalgia is great, isn't it?). I originally wanted to do a character native to the game, but there really wasn't anyone that could be effectively cosplayed. While planning, I developed a love for Peach for some reason. I found that no one had ever made a Peach specifically from Mario RPG, so I was sold ^^
Design: You wouldn't think so just by looking at her, but Peach's design in Mario RPG is slightly different from every other version. She's the only version with a white crown, and her skirt is two layers.
Construction: I decided to go with a blonde wig as opposed to yellow because I just think it looks better. The first run of this costume I had way too small of a petticoat, and the waist turned out being a lot bigger than my actual waist. A rounder skirt and smaller waist definitely makes the costume look complete :)
Favorite Aspect: She's pink, she's poofy, she Peach! ^_^
