Photoshoots from Youmacon of my two new costumes are finally here!

Youmacon was a lot of fun, especially with two new costumes!! Phew, I
thought I wouldn't have anything to show in 2009, but now I have two, and
hopefully a few more will get finished before the end of the year.
As for website updates, I've put up the
Ms. Marvel
photoshoot from Pittsburgh Comicon, as well as made the pages for Chun-Li and
Orchid, though I don't have pictures yet.
Youmacon is in three days, and I don't miss this feeling of panic because
neither of my costumes are finished lol. Chun-Li should be finished later today,
and Orchid, well, I'll get her done no matter what!! These are the only two
costumes I'll be bringing to the con. I might be able to get a preview picture
up in my LiveJournal before I leave, but if not, I shouldn't be too hard to
find. Just look for a black Chun-Li and metallic green spandex XD

I have completely failed to get Chun-Li done in time for Kurokiiro.
SADNESS! DISAPPOINT! God damn my procrastination to hell. Oh well, I'll get her
done next week and take some pretty outdoor photos before it starts snowing ._.

I'm starting to make costumes again! It's a pain but oh it feels so good!
I'm making deadlines for myself though, and I sure don't miss that feeling of
being half done and knowing you have a week left >_< I must really like this
cosplay thing.
Going to try my damnest to get Chun-Li done by next weekend for KuroKiiro
Festival, and going to have to kick myself in the butt to get Orchid and Axem
Pink done by the end of October. Wow, I might be able to finally add some 2009
costumes to my list!!

I finally got all the photos up of my older costumes. There's still a few
new photoshoots of more recent ones to be posted, but I can only be so
productive :P
Also, there's obviously been a few changes here, including the changing (or
shortening) of my cosplay name to Naosa! Now it can actually be pronounced lol

If I don't get to make something soon I think I'm going to explode... I've been
so deprived on cosplay-making because of the move that I now want to cosplay
everything I see! Playing way more of those free MMOs than I should be isn't
helping (yes, instead of moving crap so I CAN start sewing :P) All their pretty
colors and endless designs to choose from *_* I'm moving in the last of my
furniture next week, then it's COSPLAYTIMES!!!
Oh, and after lots of waiting to find out if I was going at all, it looks like I
will be at ACen. And no, I'm not excited, because I have no new costumes :(

Happy 2009! It's been a very stressful year for me so far, but that's
because I finally moved into my first apartment! This has put new costumes on
hold for a bit, but once everything's all organized cosplay production will be
so much easier (and hopefully faster) for me :) Ohayocon was the first
convention I've ever been to that I didn't cosplay...and it was actually kinda
relaxing! lol! I can't wait to start on a new costume though. I miss the
excitement of completing something.
As for site updates, I finally posted photoshoots of
Yuri and my old
Michiru
costume. Also I have received another gift from Rei, a
gorgeous CG of Ms. Marvel!!

I should have updated this sooner, but my Gwen costume won grand prize in
the official
Guild Wars Halloween Art Contest!!! ^_________^

I don't think I've done anything cosplay related for the past three months...My
s/o and I are moving in together after the holidays though so hopefully I'll
have my own cosplay space soon ^_^ Maybe I can finally make HIM a costume!!
As for site updates, I've added many
Gwen and
Ms. Marvel pics, please check them out :) I've also added
a new section to the site: gifts! The amazingly talented Rei Hisaki of
Ms. Marvel and Gwen are finished!! They debut at Acen this past weekend.
Ms. Marvel got a ton of attention, way more than I expected! Poor Gwen didn't
get recognized by a single person, but I didn't really expect it to. I'm more
excited to debut it on the net once I get some really nice outdoor photos ^_^

This week is cosplay crunch time! I'm finally going to finish Gwen, and
I'm so excited about it!! I've been slaving over her shoes for the past two days
(yes, I'm a reeeeally slow worker) so I'm almost at the point where I just want
it to be done already. I wasn't able to finish Ms. Marvel for Comicon, so I wore
Psylocke instead and got even more photos of that costume o_o I hope I
can get both Gwen and Ms. Marvel done for Acen!!
April 19
Tekkoshocon was fun times, but I've barely got time to recover since
Shinbokucon is this Sunday, then next Sunday is the Pittsburgh Comicon, then
two weeks after that is ACen!! Craziness! I'm planning to finish Ms. Marvel
for Comicon and Gwen for ACen.
I've made a couple updates to the site including my convention experience (I judged the Tekko masquerade ^^) and at least a few pictures are up for each of my costumes. I eventually want to add a tutorial section, since I feel my photo-rich documentation of the making of my SailorMoon wig should be shared :)
